The Bill (Reg. No.2476) establishes pensions for educational workers at the rate of 80 per cent of their wages. Pursuant to the Bill, the rate of pension should increase by one per cent for every full year of service, though it should not exceed 90 per cent of average monthly wage.
Moreover, the Bill envisages higher rates of wages for educational workers with academic rank in order to encourage them to work in secondary, pre-school and out-of-school educational establishments.
The Committee members deem necessary to introduce the system suggested by the Bill gradually, as it presupposes considerable load on the pension fund.
